Band of Gold is extremely versatile and appeals to everyone’s musical tastes playing a wide range of music including traditional jazz & mainstream jazz, swing, dinner/lounge jazz, blues, rock & roll and the sounds of the 60s & 70s. Jeremy can 'tailor-make' a band to suit your event and to meet your specific musical requirements – just tell him what you want and leave the rest to him. Band of Gold can range in size from a 6 piece down to a more intimate trio or duo to cater for all sizes of events, and all sizes of budgets - you can choose the size of the band that you want to suit the size of your venue and your budget, and to help create the right ambience for your special day or event. Although based in Devon, Band of Gold is prepared to travel anywhere in the UK and abroad. Since 1997 the band has been in great demand and has worked extensively at weddings, private parties, jazz clubs, jazz festivals and corporate events throughout the UK and Europe. They have also appeared at all the major jazz festivals including Bude, Birmingham, Keswick, Cork, Upton and the Old Duke Jazz Festival in Bristol. They are no strangers to the studio either, having recorded 6 CDs, appeared live on BBC radio and launched BBC Music Live (2000) on BBC National Television. They have also had extensive airplay on BBC Radio Devon, BBC Radio Cornwall, Devon-based Gemini FM, and Somerset-based Apple FM. As well as being able to provide you with a live band for your event or special occasion, Jeremy can also supply you with music during the band’s intervals if required. This can either be "background" music to help maintain the atmosphere, or a disco-type set-up to keep your guests on the dance floor and dancing the night away. If you have any special music or songs that you would like to be played during the band’s intervals, just bring them along on the night on CD, an Ipod or even your phone.
